Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at huddinfarm@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our hours may vary by season. We may be closed during inclement weather and will post any closures on our Facebook & Instagram. We reopen March 4th and will be open Wednesday-Sunday 9-6.

General admission includes entrance to the farm and all activities, playground, petting zoo with cup of animal feed. $15 per person and under 24 months is free. We are pay at the gate. No reservations needed.

Military & Senior Citizen discount is $10.

Follow our Facebook and Instagram page for special discount days throughout the season.

Generally, animal feed is 1 (2oz) cup of large animal feed & 1 (2oz) cup of goat feed. On busier days for the safety & wellbeing of our animals, staff reserve the right to limit amount of feed provided or withhold feed to prevent overfeeding.

VIP encounters with some some of our exotics are coming soon and will require a reservation. This will be for ages 8+.

Due to our animals feeding schedules, the VIP encounter will be in the afternoon only and include feeding and special visits with the sloths, tamandua, armadillo, coatimundis, and otters.

Cost is $100 for up to 2 people and $150 for up to 4 and will also include general admission to the farm and animal feed for our goats and large animals.

More details and sign up calendar coming soon!

Outside food and drink is permitted. Food truck is now open daily during farm business hours and serves Mexican food, drinks, and shaved ice. Other food and drink vendors available periodically on weekends.

For a farm, we are somewhat wheelchair friendly. There are some areas of gravel and uneven surfaces. Most animals can be accessible by wheelchair. We have added an ADA restroom.

We have a limited amount of chicken eggs and quail eggs that can be sold during our open hours.

On some occasions we will have some farm animals for sale or will need to downsize but generally do not sell animals regularly. *We are aware that some TikTok and websites are using our address as a scam selling highland calves. We do not sell or own highlands.

We have taken in many animals on the farm over the years. We do not take in dogs, cats, snakes, guinea pigs, pigs, or roosters. All of the animals we take in are with consideration.

We are not a non-profit animal rescue 501(c)(3).

If you have an animal you are needing to rehome you can reach out by email. If not available to provide it a home, we may have other contact info to help.

Seasonally, in the spring we do sell vegetable plants, fruits, flowers, and occasional tree seedlings.

No. For the protection of our animals and yours we do not allow any outside animals.

No dogs or cats.

Yes, photography is allowed at no additional fee outside the general admission fee during regular business hours and within reason if not interfering with other guests.

This area of Texas is not good for pumpkin growing. We grow some pumpkins but most of our pumpkins come from farms from Indiana, New Mexico, and west Texas.

We do not sell wholesale.

NOOO!!!

That is most definitely the worst crime you can commit in Texas so please don't!
